During the winter of 2022 I participated in a study-abroad excursion to the island of Mallorca, Spain. The program was an opportunity for me to make art on location and engage in a full range of cultural activities and excursions. I concentrated my artmaking within the 4 distinct landscapes of Mallorca: the natural, built, living, and cultural. My photographs explore these four contrasting landscapes and the way they interact and comprise the multidimensional and multifaceted geographies of Mallorca.
