Found Photo Monoprints
Over the past four years, I have been collecting found photographs.Recently, I embarked on a
transformative project, crafting a monoprint series that draws upon these anonymous memories.
These images, once belonging to strangers, took on a new life as I used them to explore the profound connection between these forgotten moments and my own artistic expression. Though I don't know the people in the photographs, my process of abstraction and combination has allowed me to forge a personal connection with these enigmatic fragments of the past.
Through the act of reinterpretation and recombination, these memories, which were never mine, have become an integral part of my own artistic narrative. The resulting monoprint series is a testament to the power of art to bridge the gap between the known and the unknown, turning the distant into something intimately my own.
